Welcome to iBex. By using our website or hiring us to build yours, you agree to these terms. We’ve kept them as simple as possible because we prefer to spend our time building great websites, not reading legal documents.
1. Our Work Together
These terms govern your use of our main website. When you hire us for a project, we will provide you with a specific, detailed proposal and contract that outlines the exact scope of work, timeline, and pricing. Those project-specific contracts will always take priority over these general terms.
2. Your Responsibilities
To build a great website, we need your help. If we are working together, you agree to:
- Provide the text, images, and other materials we need to build your site.
- Give us timely feedback so we can keep your project moving.
- Guarantee that you own (or have permission to use) any logos, text, or images you give us. You are responsible for the content on your website.
3. Ownership and Intellectual Property
What you own: Once a project is fully paid for, you own your website's final design, content, and the finished product we transfer to you.
What we own: We retain ownership of our working files, underlying code libraries, and pre-existing frameworks that we use to build your site. We also reserve the right to display the final website in our portfolio and marketing materials (unless we specifically agree otherwise in writing).
4. Payments
Our package prices (Start, Grow, Scale) are starting points. The final cost of your project will be agreed upon in your custom proposal. We usually require a deposit before we start working, with the balance due upon completion.
5. Guarantees and Liability
We build websites to high professional standards and test them thoroughly. However, the internet is constantly changing.
- We cannot guarantee that your website will never be hacked, experience downtime, or that it will automatically rank #1 on Google.
- iBex is not liable for any lost profits, lost data, or business interruptions that might happen as a result of using our website or the websites we build for you.
6. Changes to these Terms
We might update these terms from time to time as our business evolves. If we make major changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
